Stanford Primary School in Merton South London contacted us about replacing the floor in one of their Halls. The hall originally had a sheet carpet which had worn away after years of heavy use. After meeting with the school and surveying the existing floor, we recommended a sheet vinyl that would be easier to maintain and keep clean.
Vinyl floor is available in an endless array of styles and colours but a wood effect was chosen as it gave the area a more alternative/modern look.
All of the existing flooring was removed and prepared before the new flooring was laid with a latex screed to give it an even smooth layer before the vinyl was laid.
The school stage had a corded carpet fitted to it with Nosing’s to then steps. All of the corridors also had corded carpet fitted to them.
The hall and corridors were 460m2 combined in total.
